During the first year of college, we had been looking into the suprematism movement and the message it communicated with their art (Russian revolution). We had looked how artists El Lissitzky and Kazimir Malevich had used primary geometric shapes and lines in their art and had experimented with the spatial space around. I had chosen to experiment with Malevich's 'Suprematism 1915' painting to create a variety of modern architecture models with foam board.
I had carreid on the development by experimenting with wood with chosen model. By using a variety of wood (balsa wood, plywood and OSB), I was able to contrast the different texture and tones which helps to communicate the stucture of design to people.
Afterwards, I had carried on the development by using SketchUp in CAD. With this, I was able to create architecture which used all conponments from the painitng and was able to add materials.
